Helping Kids and Teens Feel Like Heroes workshops
A place for play, empowerment and healing

Informal, practical and interactive, these arts, drama, music and nature based sports workshops provide fun and creative ways of helping children and adolescents to recognise their worth, know their strengths and gifts and connect their peers in times of crisis and struggle.

Each workshop varies depending on the location, culture, and availability of resources. Alongside myself,  local artists and athletes become guides in transforming community spaces, the individual lives of struggling young people full of potential, and the lives of those in their community.

Workshops available from anywhere from a half day to over a number of weeks.

A Lisbon based Non Profit supporting refugee families

Asylum seekers and refugees are among the most vulnerable people in society. If they are to stand a chance of rebuilding shattered lives, their mental health is paramount.

At this time, when so many families in warn torn countries are being displaced, our team of therapists, artists and multi media professionals came together, launching this initiative to offer a safe, creative, healing and educational space to foster connection and a sense of belonging for children and families brought here due to war.

Our hope and wish is to support the building of a community, a space within which to come together in purpose and empowerment following the trauma of witnessing and escaping armed conflict and families being displaced from their countries and homes.

I am leading the therapeutic arts programme for children, with the support of exceptional volunteers. We facilitate collaborative expressive art creation as a tool for telling stories and to support sustainable skill building and healing for crisis affected young people.
